Changes in the management of Spice shopping complex

There are changes in the management of Spice shopping complex. As of 6 October 2021, Marie Vaino is the Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Spice and Spice Home, taking the responsibilities over from Kadrija Pudova.

„Past years have been characterized by very intense competition in the retail market and rapidly growing popularity of e-commerce, both of which were intensified by the global pandemic. We thank Kadrija Pudova for managing Spice and Spice Home shopping centres in these challenging times,” said Taavi Ojala, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Spice complex.

“Shopping centers must adapt to the changed and changing consumer behavior and other trends. We continue working on Spice refurbishment project, updating the concept of Spice Home and improving customer experience in general under Marie’s leadership. As the representative of the shareholder of Spice and Spice Home, Marie has all the authority to make necessary decisions. She has been actively working on the current challenges of the retail sector as the Member of the Supervisory Board of Spice and Panorama shopping centers. She has also worked in Spice shopping complex and Panorama shopping center in Vilnius in the past,” Taavi Ojala added.

Spice is one of the leading shopping centres in Latvia. Located on the left bank of the Daugava River, it is just about a 10-minute drive from the Riga centre, and can be conveniently reached from the Riga Airport. Spice’s two malls, Spice and Spice Home, are home to more than 150 brands and over 200 shops. In addition, there are restaurants, cafés and several services. Nearly 2,000 parking spaces are available for the convenience of visitors. The Spice Promenade will be opened soon and will ensure a safe and convenient passage between Spice and Spice Home and its purpose-built module stands will offer high-quality gourmet products from local producers all year round.
